MyCocoon, Glattpark, Zurich

An architectural reportage on the MyCocoon apartment complex, located at the southern end of Glattpark, north of Zurich. The complex consists of two buildings with 118 apartments framing a common courtyard. The spacious balconies arrange in a checkerboard pattern around on each facade facing the inner courtyard and on the south-facing exterior of the complex. The modern architecture is the work of the Zurich-based firm of Daluz Gonzalez & Cajos Architects. The photos were taken in two assignments for the architects.

A first architectural photo documentary was produced right after the completion of construction. And because buildings evolve over time and landscape architecture matures, I was commissioned to produce additional photos a year after completion of the entire complex.
